Shelter from the Wind/Refugio del Viento is a non profit organisation, a Private Shelter receiving no government or other subsidy, no grants from anywhere or anyone. It is totally reliant on human kindness and people’s knowledge of how hard we strive to keep our dogs in good conditions away from harm.
The only source of income is through “Angels” who wish to help us financially, through donations and also “Angels” who adopt a dog and kindly give us a donation to help cover the cost of preparing a dog: vaccinations, chip, sterilisation (if dog old enough) passp
